Default I added my new Altrax Controller 400amp NO DIFFERENT

here are my specs before installing my 400amp Alltrax controller NON programmable.

1997 club car
48V system
6" lift
22x11x10 tires
stock controller
stock solenoid
6 gauge wires for battery
Purple motor with handle 36V rework

GPS readings before purple motor 12-13mph
GPS readings with 36V motor on 48v system with the tires a little low 22-23mph
GPS readings with 36V motor on 48v system with tires fully inflated 24-25mph

Terrain on the street pretty level

After I installed it there was no differnece actually it felt like my 225amp stock one was better HHHMMMM. It is hooked up correctly since it does work. I am recharging the batts to see if it makes a differennce but doubtful.
Any ideas????

From what I've been told adding a good higher amp controller like your Alltrax should give you more torque at low to middle end but nothing really in top speed.

alltrax controllers on iq cars will add speed due to it not having factory installed limitations..

Correct phasetim. Another BGW member got around 21MPH after he exchanged his factory IQ controller for a 400 amp Alltrax.

On this cart he already exchanged his stock motor for a PlumQuick which already disabled his speed sensor which limits his speed. He was not happy about the lack of a speed increase after this fact.

I have a 2000 48 volt with the stock motor and I only gained a couple of mph's in top end when i installed a 488 amp controller, but there was a big difference in torque which you will notice when climbing hills or getting to top end.
