I found a g2, good body, good top, also has good utility box on back, the engine needs rebuilt it does not run. Is it worth 400.00

If you are handy, mechanically inclined and take pride in doing things yourself, yes. Let's face it, it's a twenty plus year old cart, but if the bones are in good shape, the G2 is a heck of a cart. You will spend at least twice what you are now thinking it will take to get it ship shape, but I think it would be worth 400

Check the frame out real good. I bought my G2 about a year and a half ago and once I got the body off I found a ton of rust under there. It was then that I found out that buying parts for a cart that old is a giant P.I.T. Butt

If the body is good you have an advantage there but, parts are a little hard to find and like it's been said, your gonna spend another 800 to 1600 to get everything back in ship shape.

If you need a stock G2 motor with a new carb, let me know. I bought a B.B. conversion kit for mine and I'm gonna get rid of the stock motor.
