Re: g2 purchase ?
If you are handy, mechanically inclined and take pride in doing things yourself, yes. Let's face it, it's a twenty plus year old cart, but if the bones are in good shape, the G2 is a heck of a cart. You will spend at least twice what you are now thinking it will take to get it ship shape, but I think it would be worth 400

Re: g2 purchase ?
Check the frame out real good. I bought my G2 about a year and a half ago and once I got the body off I found a ton of rust under there. It was then that I found out that buying parts for a cart that old is a giant P.I.T. Butt
If the body is good you have an advantage there but, parts are a little hard to find and like it's been said, your gonna spend another 800 to 1600 to get everything back in ship shape. If you need a stock G2 motor with a new carb, let me know. I bought a B.B. conversion kit for mine and I'm gonna get rid of the stock motor. Kev |
