I think Im gonna put a big block in it. We have an idea to use a riding tractor and take all of the running gear out of the rearend and swap it over. Then we will mount the engine in the front, under the nose, and run a long belt to the hydro stat. IT should work

Thanks for all of the help. We are not 2 cycle guys.
HHHHHMMMM rebuild it less work and $$$$$$

What is this "Easy way" that you speak of? I've heard other people say this & I just start twitching & shaking.

You will need some knowledgeable help to complete a change over and you will not have reverse! Good Luck!

It should have reverse, because the tractor has reverse. I am gonna use everything off of a rider. And if I need help, I have this forum.

Are you going to use the transmission and motor off of the tractor and if so is the rear end the same width and will you be happy with the speed of the tractor as installed on the cart? I guess I am missing something for I do not understand the procedure or the end result.

Yes I will use the transmission off of the tractor and engine. I think the rearend will be just fine on width. If im not happy with the speed, wich it should be just as fast as the golf cart, I can adjust it some, or put in a different trans.

Here is my plan.

Take tractor apart.
Take golf cart apart.
Make mount to mount engine under the nose.(It may sound crazy, but it might work)
mount rearend under cart.
mount transmission under cart
Get a longer belt to run from engine to trans.
cut whole in floor to run gear shifter(it is hydro stat so its just forward nuetral reverse)
hook up clutch brake setup.

I think its do able. Dont yall?

AHHH you have a bad attitude. It will work, you dont know me. Everything I do, I do it well. So when I start (no time soon, too busy) I will make a build thread.
