Default What mounts do I use for my G2 with a GX390?

I Just bought a Honda GX390 & I'm thinking about putting it in my G2 that needs a crank. What are people using to mount this engine in the cart & where do you get it? I have the rest figured out I think.

Default Re: What mounts do I use for my G2 with a GX390?

Some use a gokart mount plate. I welded up a mount out of a little piece of 1.5" square tubing and two pieces of 1.25"x 5/16 bar and another with 3/8 x 2" bar or similar. I lined up the clutches and marked the holes, drilled, bolted engine on. The gokart plate has the holes in it. The square tube was used in the front to lower the engine there due to my lift, that way the engine is close to level instead of tilted. Take a look in the clones section under bigblocks.
