broke g14 motor

i have a Yamaha g14that the counter shift broke and busted the block.what are my options to get it going again?

You may want to call a local machine shop because if it's cracked than it may be able to be fixed. If the block is busted there really isn't much that you can do except replace it, in which case you might as well buy a new motor. If you're buying a new motor than now is the time to go with the Vegas Carts big block conversion or use a Harbor Freight clone. The HF Predator motor would probably be about half the cost of the Vegas motor but you'll also be getting half the horse power.

Here is a post that I started when I was looking for G16 parts. Read this. There is a user by the name of Rose88 that has a G14 motor. I don't know where you are located but if you look in the parts for sale section you might be able to find something. You can also list a "wanted to buy" in that section.

It's very easy to PM. Just go to http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-...cam-shaft.html and scroll down to one of the rose88 posts. Right above the Avatar (profile picture) is the user name (in this case it'll be rose8

. Right click on the user name and scroll down to "send a private message to rose88" I think you can take it from there.

I have a complete G14 engine, runs good but smokes some, made no noise, I just wanted more power so I bought a vegas carts clone. I am in Wisconsin.
