That is some info on Scotty's page , talks about springs and contacts, notice your OEM bodies are brittle from the heat , It sounds like you are fixing the cart to keep, may have a controller package upgrade to go with the new batteries,

Contact Scotty, link above

or David , A CC dealer has parts that are an exact fit ,

Trouble with the resistor set up , power not going to the motor at reduced speeds is dissipated as heat so the controllers are more efficient and perform better. Plus you mentioned not having medium speed , if you have to buy components anyway . Might as well go with modern set up. Just an opinion though, lots of resistor carts are still on the road,...

Question Re: Where to buy 36vt soenoid's ClubCar 1988

Thanks for the info,. I think for now I just need to replace the solenoids, Ive been looking on the net etc and seeing a lot of people have trouble with some solenoids.

How do I tell if Im getting a real clubcar oem part or a higher quality solenoid??

What name brands to stay away from.

David at http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/ said he would drop ship the solenoids from ClubCar.

www.franklingolfcar.com has some but no names on them,

I see some on Amazon and ebay but cant tell what name they are

Thanks for the help

Rob
