Default G16 Hesitates when pushing gas

Wondering why about 25% of the time when I push the gas my cart makes humming noise and takes about 5 seconds to take off. It does it bad after I wash it.

Starter/generator belt is loose, or worn out. It's an easy adjustment.

Do loose belts slip worse when they are wet? I would say yep.

12mm nut for top "lock nut", loosen 17mm pivot bolt at bottom of starter generator. 10mm bolt to do the adjustment for you. Don't go too tight either, it will make bearings noisy/fail sooner. A old, worn motor sounds like a can of rocks if you over tighten the belt.
