Default 88 Marthon Body Options

Can you cahnge to a newer body. I just got my 88 Marathon and hate the way it looks in the front i want it to be more rounded. What are my options?

There are not too many options that I've seen with the Marathon ... Is yours the early '88 with the pointed nose or the later style with the plastic cowl (like the one in my Avatar)? I ask because there are cowls available with recessed headlights that look pretty slick, you may want to consider that option. Also, there are still fender flares and stuff like that floating around for these old dogs, and with a little creativity you can still make them look pretty slick ...

You can fit the TXT nose fairly easy.I removed mine and trimmed the dash-shelf to fit since i did not have the TXT dash-unit.I now have the proper dash,so the original shelf must be removed. There are nuts along the inside of the wheel-well,remove the cup-holder,and unbolt the dash-support plate. There are 2 hole on each side of the TXT nose, the lower one will line up with the flange on the foot-well.drill and bolt here. The TXT dash will secure the rest of the nose.My cart pic (avatar) is the cart i swapped bodies on.The rear is a little more involved and requires some fab-work/welding.Hope this helps
