'84 Marathon,lights wired into switch?

Is it possible to wire the headlights and tails to the key switch so that they go off with the switch? As of now,the tails are wired,negative wires to the back battery negative post(of the first set of batteries in series),the positive wires go to the light switch. Just curious.Thanks.

You can get a switch for a newer ezgo that works the lights also.
