ezgo marathon roof height

could anyone possibly help please I am fitting a roof off a different cart onto my ezgo marathon 1989 and would like to know how high the roof should be from the floor of the cart to the bottom lip of the roof? or from the ground up with standard tyre's?

Mine is an 85 Marathon & the roof height is 55.5 inches from the floor to the bottom lip of the roof. Not sure it they are the same, but that should be pretty close. Hope this is of some help.

To me it seems a little high, but I'm 6' tall and don't want to bump my head all the time. Anyway that's the stock height on mine. An inch or two lower probably wouldn't make much difference.
