G9 Rear End Vent Hose
Hello All,
I have been lurking around here for quite a while and I have learned a ton about my G9. I am not a gear head by any means but I do the best I can by trial and error. Anyway here goes. I changed the rear end oil this morning for the first time and I learned how to from this forum. It went well BUT, The vent hose broke off from the rubber fitting that is on the differential. Can anyone tell me how important the hose actually is. Should I drive the cart or wait until I can get a replacement. Thanks again to all for the great forum and all of the great info. Best Regards, Mike |

Re: G9 Rear End Vent Hose
Mike, same thing happened to me. But mine was brand new! I went to ace hardware, and bought a tube of epoxy that would glue rubber. I then took a rag with lacquer thinner on it and wiped both surfaces to be joined back together with it. let it dry for 5 minutes, mixed up the epoxy and glued it back together!! Been holding for 2 yrs. now!
