How old is your battery? When my starter/generator runs to start the motor, it turns the motor over much faster than yours does in the video. It sounds to me like you have a weak battery. I'm not sure if that's your problem, just an observation. I'll take a video of mine starting if I have some extra time tonight.

@Springbok

I noticed that your throttle plate rest position is closed at all times.. If correct I need to adjust mine. I sort of hear the difference..I think your cart is slightly louder makes it hard to hear plus yours starts up fast!!!! I am going to bring the battery and run it on the charger. I also notices the spring what does it do? Between carb and pivot?

Are you familiar with the service/operate switch?

ps how did you place the video like that?

I don't know what the spring does for sure. When you say "service/operate" switch do you mean the little yellow cam on the backside of the shifter? I call that the maintenance mode switch, which lets you run the motor in neutral.

To take the video I just took the seat completely off and leaned over the motor while I pushed the pedal up and down with my left hand.

This is the mode switch i was referring to. Mine only works in service mode will not in operate mode. I don't know if its something to worry about being it runs and operates..

I was wondering how you loaded video to forum I could not figure out how to.. I just did a link.. Next item i will try to be more specific.. My down fall! lol.

I don't have a switch like that on my cart. What is its purpose?

To load the video like that I just copied the URL that YouTube gave me when I selected the "Share" option.
