hill chip for 2008 ezgo
have mild hills around my home. thinking about changing to a mild hill chip of an up grade chip. which would be the best is what i would like to know.

Torque is the same for all chips.
Only the top speed and % of regen braking changes with each chip. |

No such thing. Only way to get more torque to climb is a new controller and/or motor or both. No $3 peice of plastic will change that.
The speed chip in EZGO is just a wire jumper that sets max RPM and regen braking limits. Torques is fixed by the speed controller amp capacity and motor. Only thing that will change is a slower cart that puts on the REGEN BRAKE going down hill or when you let off the accelerator pedal. It will save your brakes some wear and tear though. |
