Default 2009 ez-go ST Sport ll kawasaki engine

Hello Just purchased a 2009 ezgo ST Sport ll and doesn't seem to run like it should! Runs 13 mph per gps. Specs say 17 mph. Which is right? I don't really care about speed but use in hilly terrain and need power. Anyone have experience with the Kawasaki engine? Thanks in advance for your comments.

You sure you have a ST Sport II? They still come with the twin cylinder 11hp Robins. Only carts with the Kawasaki motors are the RXV, ST 400, ST Express, Lifted ST Sport and the ST 2+2 4 passenger models.

I would suggest, since you bought a NEW cart, to take it to your dealership and have them make the proper adjustments.

Nothing wrong with the answers you'll get here - I would just like to have a customer that bought a new cart from me let me know if there is a problem!

Smile Re: 2009 ez-go ST Sport ll kawasaki engine

Thanks everyone for all the info and welcome. I do have the ST sport ll and it does have the Kawasaki engine. The dealer is quite a ways from here and I don't have a trailer so decided to ask you guys. I definately don't want any warranty problems; just have always done my own tuning and tweaking on lots of snowmobiles when I lived in the Dakotas and this cart setup seems very similar. The factory specs for the Kawasaki show 17 mph (+ or - .5). My cart runs 13 on both of my GPS on the level. All help appreciated.

Thanks again to all!
