Default ez gas will not come up to top speed in cols weather

my 2002 ez=go is lifted with off road tires etc, but stock other-wise. it does take a long time for it to make full speed in cold weather- could the rear end lube be slowing this down? after about 15 minutes od driving it will come up to speed. thanks foe any imput - ghost rider forgot to mention im running 10w30 synthetic mobil one

If your using 10w30 Mobil 1 in the rear then no, it's not the cause of the sluggish performance.
Try adjusting the valves and see if that helps.

forgot to say im running mobil one in the engine/ dont know what is in the rear end, i lust assumed it would take 75/140. the cart runs fine in warm weather or after it is warmed up. im thinking to heavy of gear lube in the rear end or a fuel filter? just runs sluggish. in neutral it revs normal. thanks kingpin

The rear end should use 30wt oil, not gear lube.
