Default G19 not running

Yamaha G19, 48volt with Altrax DCX300G19 controller, 0-5K throttle. Have not found a year on it. Heard that the cart for a while has been starting out at snails pace , then start acting normal. A week ago the couple got 3/4 mile from home to the dog park and had to be towed home.
I went over a couple of days later and found cart on charger with batteries at full charge. Cables/connections look good. Batteries maybe 3 yrs old. I turned on switch and set to reverse and cart tried to move. Same thing in forward. This happened with several attempts. I lifted seat and toggled tow/run switch a couple of times.
Then I heard a tone, maybe reverse buzzer. I did hear the solenoid. I then hit reverse and the cart responded correctly. I pulled out into the street and ran the cart up and down the street staying up hill .15 mi. from the house. (I am 80 and in no condition to push it) 16 round trips, nearly 5 miles. Cart ran perfect.
Came back next day and I could not get cart to move. toggled tow run switch with no results.
I see a couple of files in my computer labeled G19E diagnostics that I created from several posts in 2015. I will start with those on Monday.
Is there a reset sequence for this controller??

Meanwhile if anybody has any ideas where to start please jump in.

Also, loud whine from either motor or rear running gear. Owner says that has always been there. This is the cart being discussed in my thread from 5/2015. I don't see that whine mentioned there. Also that means the batteries are 4 yrs, 4 mo. old. Batteries do not seem a problem at this point.

Does Alltrax led light up when key on, or pedal pressed? Is fuse near solenoid good?

Key switch, run/tow, pedal switch and solenoid seem to act normal. I have not checked throttle response for 0-5 K.

Led lights up green with key on, does not change with pedal press. No red flashes. fuse is good.

Problem seems intermittant. On Monday after a few tries and only getting cart to creep forward or back. I toggled switches: forward/reverse, key and tow/run. Cart ran normal. at the end of my drive, stopped for traffic, back to a creep and then ran normal back to my place. Later in the day back to creep.
Today I started with the 4 page diagnostic from Alltrax. Since there are no red codes,,
I started at "Cart runs slow" which instructs "jumper large posts on solenoid,,,,if cart runs normally,,,replace solenoid"
So I turned off key, set to tow position, disconnected positive and negatve cables from battery pack. Jumpered solenoid. Started to hook batts up and got a flash. Checked voltage between primary negative post and main negative cable and it reads full pack voltage.
Is there a short in the controller? I am hesitant to hook up cables up!

I think I will remove jumper at solenoid and do 0-5 K check first. Would that cause the creeping?? Bad throttle or coroosion some where?

Will post, maybe tomorrow after dentist appt.

Finally getting back to this one. After talking to tech from Alltrax, determined problem is in the motor. By-passing solenoid did not help. Throttle input is correct.
Voltage beween b- and m- at controller goes from pack voltage with pedal up to 1-2 volts at the slightest down movement of pedal, instead of smooth reduction in voltage, indicating motor is culprit.
Stethocope indicates loud whine is probably coming from the center of the motor plate on the end of the motor, bearing or brush springs grinding into the armature.

Will get it into shop next week.
