Default G29 Electric Throttle Question

I have a 2015 YDRE and it seems like it gets all its juice at the very beginning of pressing the throttle. It takes off super quick and maxes out with less than a quarter of the pedal pressed, pressing it the rest of the way down does nothing. Is this normal?

our cart feels like that as well, we just picked up this past thursday.

on a gps app I have it clocked at 12mph, but I feel like i hit that speed quick and then it feels like it just sits there, Im looking at doing a controller upgrade with solenoid to free up some HP and TQ, ive been reading the xct400 with 200 amp solenoid, should get me around 22-23mph.

we have a 2008 g29

My 2015 was like that but would hit 15mph. Dropped in a FSIP FX302 Controller this weekend and it could not have been more plug and play. Evened out the acceleration and gets me to 20mph now. 20” tires.

Glad to know it’s not an issue with mine. I’m really considering a new controller that I could better tune the throttle curve on.
