Default Charging issue first timer.

We just bought a 2008 48v Yamaha golf cart. After a failed attempt to charge the cart with the charger provided, we purchased a new charger to see if that worked. We have now determined the issue is not the chargers, it’s getting the charge from the chargers to the cart.

We did some battery tests (shown in photos). Each battery reads 12vdc and the four battery unit reads 49vdc battery pack

And 12 from the charger receptacle.

My question now is what is preventing the power from going from the charger to the batteries....

Also attaching the battery chart %

Do I need to individually charge them enough so the charger recognizes them?

Thanks

If you only getting 12v to the charge port, it's wires aren't on the correct battery terminals.

Yeah, it seems like the person I bought the cart from had them wired wrong. I attached the first picture is where the wires from the receptacle are heading, I will change the wires to the way the 2nd picture is, the opposite side.

I also plan on getting vent caps, since the watering system is missing parts.

Hopefully by swapping the wire to the correct terminal, the charger will work. Se I purchased a new $300 charger assuming the charger was the part that crapped out. lol

Holy large pictures, Batman!

But seriously, every upload of an image does the same to me.
