Motor/Cradle Angle?
I am wanting to build a 8'' or 9'' lift for my 2005 Ez Go. How much angle is too much for the engine and cradle to prevent carb problems? I know I have to lower the front mount. I was just wonder how much for the amount of lift I am going to do. Thanks fellas!

Re: Motor/Cradle Angle?
A 6" lift is about max. So if you go 3" more than 6" then drop it 3". It is a problem for the oil too. Make sure you remark the dip stick for a new full mark.. just put the recommended amout in it and file a mark....

Re: Motor/Cradle Angle?
It's not the carb so much as the lack of oil at the pickup. I've always though a 6" lift was really pushing the limit but people get by going that much. i'd drop the cradle front at least 3", maybe more if your going with the 9". The pickup is where the oil filter/screen is at the front of the engine. With a 6" lift I'm sure there are times going up steep hills when the engine isn't picking up any oil. I'd try to keep it like it had a 4" or 5" lift if it were me.
