Quiet exhaust ?????
So after driving the cart around over the weekend I've come to the conclusion that it's way too loud.(I'm getting old ) Not sure if I have an exhaust leak, or it's just worn out. I looked at the stock replacements and they are way too pricey!!!! I have no issues with fabbing something up, but what have people used for mufflers?????

Re: Quiet exhaust ?????
Well I'm trying to figure out what year I have!..lol. I'm thinking that it's older than what it was said to be. Looking at some "stock parts" (mufflers, carbs) online, it looks like it's in the 87 to 91 range. So is that the Kaw flat head??The exhaust exits the front, turns to drivers side, turns to the rear and is flanged prior to the muffler just over the axle. I will get some pics of the engine to help with identifying everything.

Re: Quiet exhaust ?????
Well the "tag" has been removed from the first place I was told to look. Someone mentioned in another thread that behind the glove box there should be one.
Like I mentioned above I will take some pictures of the engine. |
