Default Workhorse 800G age & body

Hello guys, I just purchased a workhorse 800G. I bought the cart from a buddy that owns a large landscaping company, the body is ROUGH but mechanically they took good care of it. I have no paperwork or info of any kind. I have a few questions that I can't seem to get answered, any info would be greatly appreciated.

How do find out what year your cart is?

Do you guys know where you can buy the rear steel panels for these things?

Can you swap front ends on the carts? Mine does not have headlights and I've noticed some workhorses came with them.

Many thanks!
Awesome site!

Some of those questions depend on the year. The glove box (pass. side) has a I.D. plate in it. It will say model, Man. code. serial number. The date of man is in the man code. The "secret" code is in the tech section.
go "home" "ez go gas" "sub forum: Gas TECH"
All the manuals etc.. are in there, including cart ID
WELCOME to the forum.
Rear steel panels are available (I'm sure) and the front light can be cut-in (kits)
Hope you find all you need .

Last 2 digits of the manufacturing code tell the year.

If your talking about the one that are below and around the seat.. Any ezgo dealer can get them for you, The rear fenders and back panel are plastic. the 800 is the same size as a normal golf cart so it would be possible to put a regular cart body on the back

Yes, you can put an ST cowl on it (likes on my green cart)
Many thanks!

The body panels are kinda pricy for those, it may make more sense to fix yours if they're not to beat up. I remember pricing them a few years back but I forgot what it was (well over a $100 a panel new). I was also looking at the ones for the bigger workhorse which of course cost more.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Ruredy, the panel I'm talking about is the one that has the decal on it. The parts manual refers to it as side panel. The ones on my WH are steel, and the passenger side is pretty smashed.

Turns out I have a 99!

Thanks,
Ray
