Default 1999 Gas Ezgo won't go

I have 1999 gas ezgo that won't go. It ran just fine one minute and the next minute went to turn on and it wouldn't go. If I charge battery up it will run for a while then quits running again. There is a wire coming out of the motor that I don't know where it is suppose to go. Also it would be nice if someone would know where to look for a diagram of this. Thanks!

probably a green wire that runs to the df terminal on the starter/gen. if it come off the system won't charge.

Thanks for the reply! Checked and it is not that. We are thinking maybe the voltage regulator.

check charging voltage wheile eng is runing at battery you should have atleast 13.2V or more. If not, that replace the voltage regulator by solenoid, it is a small square aluminum module that has 3 wires.
