Depends if it's a Yamaha or a Dana. Go to www.yamahagolfcar.com/partsandservice Pick parts manuals then 1995 then G14a. It will have a parts explossion of both transaxles.

Smallblock, whilst indentifying rear ends, could I trouble you for a bit more info? Would this be a Dana or a Yamaha rear end? Or? I cannot locate a diff breakdown on a gas cart with this exact diff...the rear design with the bolt-on cover is used on Yamha electric but cannot locate on gas powered?
It's a foward/reverse unit.
Thanks, JR

As far as I can tell from that picture....It's a Hyundia. Not even a Yamaha G14 picture?

Thanks much Doomsman! That's the correct rear end. May I ask where you found that exploded view? Don't need anything...just wanted to see what's inside the thing.
Smallblock, your right. It ain't a Yamaha. It's a Hyundai. Posted this same question in the correct topic area and didn't get a response. Tribal thing huh!? Thought maybe you Yami dudes knew more about these things. Obvously y'all do.
Definitely don't wish to screw with y'all, but I don't know &%# about golf carts. I'm a motorcycle mechanic (Suz, Kaw, Yam). Yamaha golf carts are of limits to us dealers. We get waverunners, outboards, scoots, ATVs etc, but no golf carts. We got some ProHaulers one year. That program has been canceled. We cannot get Yamaha cart parts.
Also have a really nice '02 48V CC electric that I use in "electric" only campgrounds...but I'm finding no one enforces the electric-only rules. Electric carts suck as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to stuff a YZF600 or some sort of ATV engine in this Hyundai thing.
The YZF's 70 HP obviously could damage the transaxle, but I want reverse, which the OEM transaxle offers. Wanted to know that parts are available for the axle. I don't know these things.
Still like to know the brand of the axle...seems a rather well guarded item!
Regarding the "Hyundai"....it'll soon enough have Kawasaki ATV front...and not quite sure about the rear. Then I'll reference it as a Kaw, or Suz...? I'm looking for a proper engine.
Anyone got a brand on the rear end in the exploded view? I'll go away...back to the Hyundai thread swamp....I promise!
Doomsman, thanks again! JR

I noticed a difference on the diff. My axles bolt onto the diff center case with a round flange 6 or so bolts. But the rest of the diagram looks identical.
Is that a Dana rear drive? Are removeable carrier covers typical of Dana style rear ends?
Last post on this subject! Promise!

JRL, you might want to start a thread in the "big block section" under "bike engine builds". Dont know much about Hyundai transaxles. The bolt on axle tubes are like older Yamaha diff's. The only problem I see is Hyundai has been out of business along time and replacement parts could be a problem. Good luck on your build!
