Default 1991 G8 re-furb'd

Well, here it is. Three months and countless hours sitting on buggies gone wild,,,,I mean, building this golf cart!

Thought I'd post some before and after pictures. I say, its almost done, but not yet. The family says, 'its done dad'. The wife says 'your DONE honey!'.

This cart had one foot in the grave. It was not running and it was so close to heading to the junkyard. I picked it up for $390.00. Just about every single part was either re-built or replaced. I must say, what a FUN project this has been.

Thanks to all those who have helped me out along the way on this forum. There's no way I could have figured all this out without you guys! Especially cudo's to Mike!!

Looks Good Jim, just tune the bugs out of it and it will be fine! Put some miles on it, and maybe wheels and tires later on. You did a darn good job!!

Now enjoy!

Very nice. I hope my paint job turns out that nice. I haven't decided on a color but that electric blue is sharp!!

I have been working all my bugs out before I work on the body.

What kind of paint did you use? The mix? THis plastice is so flexible I am worried about cracking.

The last guy that had my cart did a rattle can black and it looks rough. cracked all over. I have a lot of prep work to do.

Thanks guys!

Chevy man, go to the sticky here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/body-...ic-bodies.html

It'll tell you everything you need to know about painting these carts! I used all Nason products from an automotive paint store. Expect to pay at least $200.
