I knew there must be another choice out there. You guys think car shocks wouldn't be too stiff?
I forgot you have coil overs. I used some Pinto shocks on my workhorse and they are fine.

well, at $25 a shock, and they might be right down the street? Maybe worth a try!

One interesting note: The guy at the yamaha cart dealer said that the yamaha shocks must be built hell for stout. Because he sells 90% more shocks for CC and EZGO than he does for Yamaha! Just another reason to own a yami!!!!

I just looked up the G2/G9 shock length. Its showing 12 5/8". Why wouldn't these work?

Guys, am I missing something? The Yamaha shocks are coil overs. The others are not.

When my car was a POS. a buddy of mine asked if I was gonna put a back seat on, and I said yes, probably. He handed me a pair of coil overs and said "you'll need these".
I don't know what they are off of, they have a # at the bottom of the shock, but I don't know if that # will tell their origin. They are stiff, but they work perfect for my application. I will get you that # in the morn. They are a bit longer than stock (can't remember length just off hand, but will measure in the morn.
