Default Yamaha g1 vacume

Hello does anyone no how much pressure is supposed to be pumped into back of fuel pump...could the hose that runs in back of fuel pump be plugged??? Any info would be great...not sure if it works??? Put new fuel pump on and got nothing...put electric pump on and vrooom fired up but run for 10 min then quit like it got hot and quit?? Any opinions would be great trying to figure this old dog out thanks
