Is this a workhorse?
I just got this cart. I am pretty sure it is an 89 model, but I'm not sure if this is a workhorse or not. It is a 2-cycle - it was running, but now I'm having problems with the starter/gen. I don't know if my battery is shot or if the starter is too weak to do it's job. Any helpful hints will be appreciated.

Re: Is this a workhorse?
The term 'Workhorse' did not exist until the late 90's. I would think that cart might be closer to an 810 hauler?

Re: Is this a workhorse?
Finally identified!! - my cart is a 1989 GXT-800 Turf Vehicle.
Now if I can get the starter/gen rebuilt just as quick.... |

Re: Is this a workhorse?
I just pulled the starter / gen off. Only took me 2 days (stinking bolt was bent). I hope to have it rebuilt by this weekend.
Does anyone know what the largest size tire I can use without using a lift kit?? |

Re: Is this a workhorse?
Does anyone know what the HP (or cc size) of the stock 2-cycle engine in one of these carts would be?

Re: Is this a workhorse?
I recently got an 89 myself and was told that the engine was a 175cc .
got to pull the starter today ,, I hope they put the designer of that setup in jail . I'm going to have to drop the trailing arm to get it out . |

Re: Is this a workhorse?
The engine is a Fuji / Robin EC25 244cc. Puts out like 8 or 9 HP. Similar to the EC25 found in many Polaris products.
