Actually you only tested half of the MCOR with the paperclip test. But from what you're saying it could still be your MCOR.

Also with the speed sensor test the buzzer should pulse and not be on steady.

That said either one could be your problem. Speed sensors and MCOR's are relatively cheap. Pick one and replace it. Sometimes you will never know a part is bad for sure until you replace it

the buzzer did pulse while pushing the cart back but again, no braking. no buzzer at all when i pushed it forward.

Is your motor stock? Plum Quick motors work a little different. Or some motors don't use the warning rollaway alarm.

not sure what you mean by plum quick but i attached a pics of my motor.

This will check the other half of the MCOR. Disconnect the triangular connector from the MCOR. Identify what pins in the Mcor connect to the green and yellow wires in the plug. Connect your DVM in resistance mode to these pins "on the mcor" You should read 6 to 7k ohms with the pedal up and <1k ohms with the pedal down. Next do the same with the purple and yellow wires. They should read 6 to 7 k all the time pedal up or pedal down. Post your readings when done. As usual make sure tow/run switch is in tow.
