Question Precedent Max weight Capacity

I am building a stealth hunting vehicle from the ground up with custom racks and a platform up top to hunt from. It is starting to get a little out of control and I'm getting a little worried about weight issues.

With extra batteries, accessories, corn, feeder, people and a couple of dead hogs it will have a LOT of extra weight. I have a jakes 6" double A-arm lift in front and heavy duty overload springs in the rear, I'm guessing the jakes lift would be the weak point?

Anyone have any experience or information about how much weight these carts can handle and rating of the jakes lift? It will be driven slowly and mainly on dirt roads with no real offroading. I am attaching a pic in progress for reference.

Default Re: Precedent Max weight Capacity

Looks interesting, in a good kind of way. The Jake's Double A-Arm appears to be very similar to the All Sport's Double A-Arm lift kit. I'm very familiar with the All Sports kit. We've got a shooting range on a local military base that has 3 lifted Precedents. They've got two guys who are pretty regular visitors to their shooting range who weigh a combined 850 lbs. One guy is 450 and the other is 400. They claim that they both sit in the front seat of the vehicle. I've changed numerous broken front leaf springs and 3 or 4 warped front springs due to this added weight. I'm not sure how much this stuff weighs that you're using, but keep an eye on the front spring. You'll notice the camber changing as the spring starts to squat. Once it squats, it won't recover.
