A arm vs spindle lift kits

Mine is just more for street, beach, land use etc...
I doubt I will ever go off roading with it.

well I like mine . I run it on the street and off road and it runs fine .there is no wander all over the road while driving. even at the speed of 30-34 mph . drives / ride like a champ.

I don't have a lift on my cart, but my understanding is that if Your cart is older and/or with worn out front suspension parts, the double A-Arm makes more sense since it replaces most of the suspension parts.

Another consideration is if the particular tire/wheel offset combo you install ends up with an improper camber, the double A-Arm lets you adjust to compensate for that.

If the side-to-side camber is off by 1° or more, it will cause the cart to pull or lead to the side with the most positive camber.

I have a softer ride and can corner better than my buddy's 2012 ez-go I assumed it was because of my double A arm setup his is like new and rides a drives crazy wonders all over the road maybe there's something wrong with it

It's because of "Bump-Steer".

Bump Steer is when your wheels steer themselves without input from the steering wheel. The undesirable steering is caused by bumps in the track interacting with improper length or angle of your suspension and steering linkages.

This is due to the excessively long spindles with all of the support at the top of them with no support down low. On a double A-Arm setup your spindle is supported at the absolute top and the absolute bottom of itself by the upper and lower control arms. Because of this, the spindle is held still in one position and cannot move at all with the exception of rotating while steering. This is why the double a-arm kit provides such a better feel.

The spindle lift kits bolt to the factory axle, and droop down low to provide lift and really lack the support at the bottom near the hub. They're going to go through bushings faster because of the extra leverage on the kingpins and they're going to give you a jerky steering feel. This only gets worse as the bushings get worn.

Proper front-end alignment and steering geometry go a long way regardless of what type of lift you are running.

I've had the same question. I'm new to all this and have been asking around and reading. Seems like the general consensus is ghat A arm lift is ghe way to go for steering stability and control. I have heard that they provide a much stiffer ride though. Is there any truth to this?

What about those $200 club car lifts they sell that change a lot of the front end parts also.
Seems like an a arm & spindle lift with all new components.
I forgot the name of those lifts or who sells them.
I was told they were pretty stable.
Ill try to find a link or pic of one, but they are all over eBay for sell.
