Re: 1992 EzGo 90 36volt cart stopped moving suddenly.
It was the reading just before I disconnected it after it was charged.
So I need to ask, is it necessary to keep the charger connected to cart and plugged in to power like even after it cuts itself off? Or does it hurt to leave it on and connected for extended times while not being used? Also how is best way to keep batteries from freezing in winter storage as it's just under a covered patio? |

Re: 1992 EzGo 90 36volt cart stopped moving suddenly.
With a stock charger, once it turns off, it stays off. It doesn't need to be unplugged, but it doesn't hurt if you do. You should unplug it from the cart and replug it every month, if you aren't using it.
As to freezing, a fully charged pack will tolerate below freezing weather, but I'll leave it up to the experts to answer. Many carts are left in garages, which typically aren't heated. |

Thank you my friend, for that information.
I'll hopefully keep an eye on the status of batteries a little better now. You've been a great help, I shall keep you in mind if it fails to respond again. |

Re: 1992 EzGo 90 36volt cart stopped moving suddenly.
Thought that my problem was solved, however after it sits awhile, it will move just a few feet then stops. Solenoid still clicks when I engage accelerator pedal but that's all. If I keep working the accelerator pedal and switching the FnR switch as I'm working accelerator it Gradually begins to to take life and gradually moves slightly, after a while it will build up to full power and run normally even up hills etc.
The batteries have been fully charged, there is no excessive heat built up on any parts or wires. I'm really puzzled over this. |
