I have a 1996 ezgo doe the selenoid endgage as soon the the key is on and in forward

I've heard of that happening sometimes and I have seen it a few times but the cart works normally correct? If it runs fine I don't think it's detrimental to the cart

Let's start from beginning. Are the batteries ok? Do you know what pack voltage is on cart? Also are you sure you are hearing the solenoid engaging ?

Bat full. Charged 36 v and yes it is engaged for sure

At full charge it is only at 36v? It should be higher than that. Do you know how old the batteries are?
