I'm still not digging my stiff HD rear suspension. If I remove the lower leaf, will that just make it a SD spring?

Those who added from HD springs, did that make any improvement to ride?

really don't like my ride with hd springs either. when i bought the cart it had a rear flip-flop set up and bent springs and shocks. then got rid of the seat and it is too hard. thought about removing one also, but sort of hesitant with two batts in the well. don't know which would be the best to pull. maybe the second from the top?

Less air in the tires may help the overall ride.

I'm running mine over inflated right now - but time to get it back down to the 7psi they're supposed to have. Got the KYB shocks on the front tonight and while it's not an IFS, it handles a lot better than my old ones. Hunting buggie, so stiffer with less bounce and sag on the "one wheel up, one wheel down" areas of the camp is what I was looking for. No matter what I tried to crawl over I couldn't make the fender flares rub the tires like they used to

Trying to decide now if I am putting the HD springs on with stock shocks, HD springs with gas shocks, or poor old and busted out "w" leaf springs and air shocks for the rear.

So many decisions and it seems none of them are wrong

Do you have HD front springs? Do you have any "extra" static weight?

I tried dropping 3 psi in the rear and it's just so harsh. The back tires literally jump off the ground if I hit something bumpy. We have a trail that we used to be able to take flat out with the old springs, the new ones...there's no way.

Cart54, I have the original front springs. only static weight would be the 2 extra batteries in the bag well.

Ok, so this begs the question, are all HD springs created equally? Are these merely individually designed and built by several parts suppliers?
