It won't be long before your current springs start to sag

Re: Installing HD rear springs
That's a lot. I can say this, the HD springs can make the cart frame noticeable flex. I'm inclined to say the springs just transfer so much energy to the chassis, you're either going to wear out your springs, or wear out your frame construction, IMHO. At this point, I regret the HD springs....but I like to ride 4 adults, I could have 400lbs of people in the back seat usually off road and bouncing a lot

Re: Installing HD rear springs
Heh cart54 did you ever make a change like we talked about? Like pulling a leaf or flipping a leaf around or did you just leave it alone? Maybe now is the time to start experimenting to see what suits you best. It's worth a shot! Let me know what you do!

Re: Installing HD rear springs
To clarify... My 500 pound number was based on the weight of the rear seat, the hitch, and the grab bar. This is a 36v cart, so not batteries in the bag well either. Since this posting I have found four and five leaf springs. I think I will get a pair of the five leaf springs and try them out.

Re: Installing HD rear springs
I used a 4 leaf from tradesmark carts(one of the sponsors) and I like the ride. They did raise the rear of the cart alittle but I just installed a rear seat so we will see how they hold up.
