Re: diode????
basicly that is exactly what I am thinking. under no load, there can appear to be full pack voltage, then once a load is demanded, the weakened connection can't handle it and drops out.

Re: diode????
my reverse beeper sounds sick when put in reverse, so power to it must be hindered and if power to the beeper comes from the micro's on the f/r switch and that power comes from the reed switch wire then ????????? I am not gonna sleep at all night. dark out now and raining so not much going on here other than my mind racing around the same 4 turns all night

Re: diode????
Don't forget the other side of the circuit.... could be a fault in the ground just as easily as a positive fault.

EUREKA! jumped the wire to pack voltage and its alive! now can I just keep it jumped to pack voltage and run run run or do I need to get this reed switch for it???? will it effect the charging with it jumper or is it ok to run like this???
edit: did some quick searches and seems like it's ok to run without the reed switch is that true can i get a heads up |

Re: diode????
leave the bypass in. E-Z-GO did away with the reed switch back in 2003 or so....... They now have a large 60 AMP Megafuse on the white wire from the charger, but again, even that is not needed unless you find yourself wanting to drive off while the charger is plugged in.....
