Just a tid bit more insight. If you xo have to replace all of the oem parts total cost will be close to upgrading to the disc kit from cartsunlimited. Not to mention the hub design is way better, stopping is way better and it's a lot easier to apply the brakes. Oh not to mention it looks cool a chit.

Well guys, went over to the golf cart last night...removed the dust covers from both wheels and sat the cart back down. Depressed the throttle and I don't have either axle nut spinning. I can still feel the motor running...or vibrating at least as if it is running. Any other ideas? Or is it basically time to remove the rearend and pull the differential and gearcase apart? Just curious has anyone had any issues out of the 22 spline input shaft? I believe that's what I have seen it is. Well hopefully the issue is at least fixeable!!! Thanks guys

you don't need to pull the rear end to check it. go thru the access panel and tie a strap (or belt) around the motor to support it when you take out the bolts. be sure to use two wrenches on the cables. then you can inspect the motor and input splines. for the other gears, just drop the pan and use a light to inspect. it is a pretty basic set up. if it all looks good then you are back to the motor or the power being sent to the motor.

x2.

Also when you go to pull the motor beware, it's a heck of a lot heavier than it looks.

Well I can't multi quote on my phone... Well I was obviously lazy last night and forgot my meter to check the batteries...so I didn't get that done, as for the motor...I could tell its quite heavy as I have done a lot of electric motor work at previous jobs. Going to pull it and inspect next week after I get back from seeing my kids next week.

Proper toque is needed, and I always wire brush axle and drum then put anti-seize lubricant on the splines. Also never back the nut off to fit the cotter pin

So guys here is a dumb question...once you remove the 3 bolts from the motor and it spins freely...what exactly still has ahold of the motor? Does the shaft seize into something inside? What exactly should I do to proceed to get the motor extracted? Thanks for your help!
