Default Question about extension cord

I use a heavy duty extension cord run to my Logic Shelter shed to my battery charger to charge my cart. If I wanted to plug something else in to that cord (like a sonic mouse deterrent thing), could I use an adapter on the end of the extension cord, so I could plug in the charger and this device, or is that getting too dangerous?
I could run a separate heavy duty extension cord out there, but those things are pretty expensive (100').
Also, would it be a good thing to cover the extension cord(s) outside with some sort of plastic sleeve/tubing of some sort, just to protect it from the elements and the mice?
Thanks.

The ultrasonic pest remover hardly uses any current. Get a three way adapter that's rated at 20A and you'll be fine! Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware carry them. Something to encase your cord, I have not a clue! Someone else on here will probably have an answer for you on that. I mean't to mention earlier that you may consider getting a couple of spayed female kittys to help with your mouse problem. We always had a couple of cats on our place to keep the mouses in check!

PVC plumbing pipe large enough to slide over the plug, then seal it with a caulk of some sort.

if you're willing to go to the trouble of encasing a extension cord, you might as well take it one step further and bury some conduit. once the conduit is down, you can easily pull whatever gauge wire your shelter needs.
