Well, i finally got the kids home. They missed me and I have missed them. I was able to remove the batteries today, and thats about it. I think they like their new home they seamed to smile.

should get a chance to do a deep cleaning this weekend and really evaluate the frames. hope they arent too bad but i bet there are.

I did get a little direction today, pretty sure one is going to get at truck bed liner on the entire body, new FNR, batteries, cables, front seats, rear seats and some of that Bondo Plastic dye on the plastics. That should get me a good, ok looking, roller to use on sporting clay shoots. may decide to put a 4" lift if the frame isnt to bad.

i think pops may just get new batteries, cables, and FNR, for the kids to ride around in. FOR NOW...

i havent done any work on the carts yet because i was waiting on this major parts score to come through. you may remember Oilfield, he had a build a while back then had some bad luck and had to stop his build, well he sold me all his parts, including a new (used) frame. you will see why i need it. I may win an award for worst frame EVER.

today i ordered batteries, fnr and cables for pops, pretty sure he will be the only trashed cart with all stock parts and 2ga full copper wires around (got a good deal on them from a wholesale battery dealer i work with). Pops should be running by the weekend.

you will see in on of the pics that my son is very excited to ride the carts. he couldnt wait.

enjoy, and wish me luck.

you may have seen the pre 2001.5 stearing box and other pre 2001.5 parts and many pds parts, they will all be for sale once i get my carts running. if you see something you must have now let me know i would probably sell it (to buy other parts of course).

in 2 weeks or so i will be able to confirm a 2003 txt on a per 2001.5 frame.

thanks Oilfield, you really hooked me up.

No it spent its life on a limestone shipyard. Before I washed the cart it looked like it had been driven thru wet cement, from all the limestone dust caked to it. It is worse than the pics show...

But upward and onward! Got my me FNR for Pops today, picking up the batts and cables tomorrow. Should be driving around the yard before dark!!! Yes i know I need to charge the batteries first, but I will do one small victory lap first, you know... Just to be sure everything is working!
