Default Controller Help!!

i just bought a 500 amp controller and upgraded to 48 volts but im trying to tweak it on my computer i got the software downloaded on PC but it always tells me cant locate my controller whats going on??

Does your controller have a green light on when you are trying to control it? Depending on the cart the controller doesn't come on until the accelerator is pressed. If that's the case you can always Jack up the wheels and do it in your garage.

Controller has to be powered up before you open the software. If it still will not find the controller try restarting the computer with the controller still hooked up. Did you install the drivers for your cable?

what I do is jack rear end of cart up...pull the small black wire off controller post #2 and put a hammer between the gas pedal and brake pedal to hold accelerator pedal down to program...

yes pull the wire off and make sure its away from that post...that will prevent cart from moving while still feeding power to controller
