Default In the Market: New 48v Charger

I'm looking for a new charger with a higher amp rating that the DPI - I have one now that works... but I'm not thrilled with it.

I am running 48v in my PDS TXT...

Ideally I would like to find something in the 20+ amp range.

Any ideas? Buggies has one made by Eagle I think but it doesn't list the amp rating...

What is everyone using for the TXT 48v conversion?

Everyone is using the DPI 17amp 48v charger with good results.
Manufactures suggest the max bulk charge rate not exceed 10% of the battery's capacity.
Bulk charge is the initial input which usually lasts from 20-40 minutes of the 5-8 hour charge cycle. After than the charge rate decreases. This is the same with all golf cart chargers. While a 20 amp charger would be fine for large 200-225 AH 6v batteries, it is too much amperage for smaller 180 6v and all 8v batteries listing 190 or less AH rating.

I hope this helps.

Thanks - I ordered the Schumacher... I'll be getting rid of my DPI 48v as well as a couple of my older Powerwise 36v chargers... time to clean up the shop!
