You wouldn't have the traction at the higher inflation but it shouldn't hurt the tires. Steering ease is also better.

Do you always inflate tires to 4x their max stated pressure?

Just kidding, I know atv tires can handle more pressure then the sidewall rating, especially in a slow golf cart. I did plan on running up the pressure to see what happens mph wise.

When seating the bead, my ATV tires sidewall printed warning states 'not to exceed 30 psi'. I run my front tires at 10-15 psi for easier steering.
