To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. As you're standing on passenger side of cart, it rotates counter clockwise. From driver's side it is clockwise. I'm guessing it's counter clockwise? Thanks for your help!

I've disconnected the ground wire on the rpm limiter

I've disconnected the rpm limiter ground wire. I've read that will disable it. re the rotation of the drive clutch, as you're facing it from passenger side, it's counter clockwise.

Thanks for the diagram Lockman1. It'll probably be a few days before I get the ignitor. I'll post the outcome when I get it.

FYI the igniter doesn't HAVE to go back where it was originally. Once you have an igniter in hand you can just move the wire (small spade terminal) from the old one to the new one and ground the case - even with a small jumper wire. Lets you know if that's your fix before you go to the trouble of taking the rpm limiter and bracket all apart. Many people even leave the old one where it was and permanently mount the new one somewhere more easily accessible. That way if it ever goes out again it's a 30 second replacement.

Thanks meimk. I'll definitely try that when I get the ignitor.

Morning fellas, Ive had the same issue with my 96 club car, I changed all fuel lines carb, fuel pump, new coil. Now I have no spark at plug, I have spark on coil wire but with cap and plug on no spark the spark on the coil wire is sort of white in color, is this normal? I plan to replace plug cap and will be blind sided if that was the issue the whole time, I also installed new battery last night no change, any ideas guys maybe Im missing something, I tested the cap with OHM meter and no ohms, I tried putting a lawn mower plug cap on that was working still no spark at plug, Thanks in advance.
