Solenoid question
Is it possible for a solenoid to work part of the time and the other part no start situation drawl down the battery to nothing then as soon as the key is off the battery works it way back up to 12.5 from like 3 volts. I sit there and watch this happen on my multi meter. If I wait an hour it will usually start back up at idle I am only getting like 11v back from the starter under real hard acceleration I'm getting just over 14 v but that's basically full speed which I seldom do, usually I'm just creeping to half speed. I had the battery load tested to day its fine they told me. I think I have some resistance somewhere and I think it might be the solenoid does anyone have an opinion or something else I should be looking at. I have had to starting or charging issue until the last 2 weeks

Re: Solenoid question
yes the solenoid can act up so to speak, try changing that first and see if it acts up on you after that
