Best website to Order parts for 87 ezgo marathon 2 stroke
just got an 87 ezgo marathon 2 stroke gx444 given to me what are the best mods and upgrades to do to the body and motor any input is appreciated post some pics if you have this buggy

I have an 87. I removed the governor. Mine didn't come with an oiler, but I would have removed it too.
I replaced my cowl with one from a 90. It gave me clearance for front knobby tires without a lift. It steers good in the snow now. I never wanted a roof, but now really like it. That was great for mounting LED headlights. I also replaced the rear bumper with a large piece of angle iron, and welded on a 2" receiver. It's great for pulling a firewood trailer, or one of those cargo brackets that slides into the receiver. |

There is a lever that rides against the end of the driven clutch. It's connected to a cable that goes up to the carburetor. Follow it up so you get the right one, and disconnect it.
You only really need a throttle cable, and a choke cable. I will post pics of my carburetor. You can use the 85 manual too. |
