Re: Quiet exhaust ?????
Heavy is right! They must weigh 10 pounds. Kinda wierd how they have such a big body and then that tiny long tailpipe!

Re: Quiet exhaust ?????
I put a car muffler in mine last week. I figured i would weld the old tip onto the muffler (for back pressure). So I had a car muffler on it, with about a 1/2 inch pipe at the end... The final result... It was far louder than before. So whatever you do, DO NOT use a car muffler! Waste of time and money.

Re: Quiet exhaust ?????
What motor do you have? @2or 4 stroke? Was the muffler from a much larger engine? Try choking it down to a much smaller outlet

hey trie this out! this is a nice 8 inch pie, 68 inches tall, all you have to do is make a adapter for the 1 inch pipe to the 8 inch. plus it will lok relly good with that nice gts blue paint job! but i think there may be a issue with the back pressure though. just a thought. and no i dont plan on you taking this serious! |

Re: Quiet exhaust ?????
So here's what I ended up with. It's has a nice low rumble instead of the old lawmmower sound. A total of about $27 with the pipe and fitting.
