Re: 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200
Yes, its broke
Someone really rigged that one. It should be on the other side. It has two tabs on it the best I remember that won't let it pull through. I would have to take a look at mine tomorrow to know for sure |

Re: 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200
This is from my 2004 MPT 1200 workhorse which I think is just like yours. As you can see the bushing is in place on mine. It was broke when I bought the cart and rigged like yours with another spring to pull it back. Works prefect now.

Re: 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200
I'm no fan of spindle lifts, the one I tried had a bad turning radius plus with the longer spindle there is more leverage on the axle if you hit something. I would go with the Jake's dropped axle lift myself, they make one for the 1200 for about the same price.

Re: 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200
Normal difference between the txt and workhorse setup is the rear brakes. A lot of workhorse carts have the brake cable actuators on top where the txt is on the bottom. If you put a txt lift on a wh the cables would not clear unless you flipped the brake assemblies from side to side. Some manufacturers figured this out and designed brackets that allowed the brakes to clear..

Re: 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200
Do y’all think jakes will do a or has a txt front axle replacement and the WH rear drop axle combo lift? Instead of the front spindle lift?

Re: 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200
Jake's and Allsport's both make a "axle lift for a workhorse 1200", I favor the way Jake's lifts the back end, the front lifts are both the same as for TXT.
