They get hot but you should be able to ride one all day and it not be in any danger of anything melting or smelling funny or anything like that. Its fan cooled it runs the fan all the time its running. If you really want you can preload the spring a little more instead of b3 in the secondary run b4 it will cause rpm to be a little higher most of the time and then cool a little better. Another issue is some G2 had a panel under the engine to make it quieter I think and that makes them run hotter. The G9 did away with that for more air flow around the engine.

Secondary problem will make it run very strange.

the spring i have doesn't have the holes to preload...it was a torque spring I bought. were you able to see those pics...Is that my problem of the engin reving up and down?

I don't like big springs I would only recommend the umax if you can find one. The big springs can destroy the clutch its not made for that, you need to put a new nut on to make sure it does not come apart. They work but they are not proper.

If the secondary has a problem sure it can make it run poorly.

All of your pucks are in backwards. That's why they're all worn flat on the corners. The beveled edge should be facing outward and up to match the profile of the clutch cover.
