Voltage regulator
hey everyone im working on a frends club car gas and i found the starter generator was bad not charging. intalled new one. still not charging tested SG per test procedure its good. it seem most thing i find on the internet says a failed VR will cause overcharging it seems mine is just not charging does that make sence that i have a failed voltage regulator

Yes a bad Voltage Regulator can and will cause cart not to charge...Says in the manual if starter/generator test well and your battery is good...Replace Voltage Regulator if not charging.
