Where to buy KF82 Carb Rebuild kits for 1985 Club Car DS
I found a rebuild kit at LVS sales but am now concerned they may not be very reputable based on reviews on the web. Has any one done business with them?
3 to 5 days for them to send it seems extreme. Thanks, Jim |

Re: Where to buy KF82 Carb Rebuild kits for 1985 Club Car DS
i have dealt with them for years......have they ever ripped me off? no am i 100% satisfied with their service? no..........its always their shipping that gets my goat cause the one thing they do that i hate is if they don,t have the part in stock they don,t tell you ...............you find out the hard way when your part dosn,t show up until 2 months later...........other than that they have always been good to me and even have went out of their way by overnighting me parts at no charge if they screw up........having said this i won,t reccomend but i do know they are ligit.....the reason i deal with them is i get parts at their dealer prices rather then what they sell to the public and no other places out there offer that..........some claim to but when you check into it its not true................................

Re: Where to buy KF82 Carb Rebuild kits for 1985 Club Car DS
Thanks,
I'm used to things ordered going out faster than that. I was hoping to rebuild the carb this weekend but will probably save that for the winter now. I'll tear it down and clean it again. Then, I'm going to find out where the gunk is coming from. Does anyone know the best way to clean a plastic gas tank? |

Then, I'm going to find out where the gunk is coming from. Does anyone know the best way to clean a plastic gas tank?[/QUOTE] That's a good question; In the past i've used a 50 / 50 mixture of bleach and water and allowed it to thoroughly dry for a day or so, I have also tried pressure washing and drying with good results. Any other ideas ? Chris. |

I stand corrected. I never did find a tracking number or any indication the rebuild kit had been shipped but it showed up today. I'm going to check the parts are all there but it's great to get it so fast.
