Default Need a little more ground clearance

I am interested in the big lifts I seen on this forum; unfortunately, I cant really put all the extra $$$ into a big lift, large tires, upgraded controller, etc....

But I do need an extra inch or so. I recently upgraded my tires and wheels (went much more aggresive tread while staying stock or so size on tires). Problem now is with the more agressive tires and in weird angles the front tires tend to scrub a good bit.

I was going to do a 3" all sports drop axl lift. Then i was told I would lose torque. I defintely dont want to lose torque.

I run a 95 electric medalist. I am currently replacing the rear leaf springs. I know that will pick the rear end up a bit. But the concern is the front.

Would new front springs and maybe shocks pick it up a bit?

If I am not going to lose torque I will go with the 3" lift.

Help please!!!!!

A lift kit won't effect torque.... only the increased tire size changes the final gear ratio, not the lift. You could lift it a mile and keep stock tires = no loss of torque.
Another myth is shocks raise your cart body. No, shocks do not raise the body that is the function of the springs. I hope this helps.

That is great news!

So would the front leaf springs raise the cart at all??

Just wondering if I should replace those or just put that $$ forward buying a lift??

I am thinking the front need to be replaced anyway.
